"A future-proof recruitment system."
What do you like best about Eploy?
Since implementing Eploy in February 2024, our experience with the system has been nothing short of excellent. The platform is incredibly adaptable and user-friendly, making it a valuable asset to our recruitment process. The implementation phase was thorough and well-managed, with our Implementation Manager meticulously addressing all our specific requirements and ensuring they were seamlessly integrated into the system.
One of the standout features of Eploy is its flexibility. We have made numerous adjustments to the platform post-launch to further enhance our candidate experience, and the best part is that we could do it all ourselves. This level of autonomy is a significant advantage over other systems.
The support we have received from Eploy to date has been outstanding. Whether our queries were directed to our Account Manager or the support team, we consistently received prompt and effective solutions, often within just two days, which has been crucial in maintaining our recruitment efficiency.
Eploy has become an integral part of our daily operations. Over the past 12 months, we have processed over 25,000 applications for more than 900 job openings, demonstrating the system's capability to handle high volumes of data efficiently and increasing our candidate satisfaction.
What do you dislike about Eploy?
We're now in our second year with Eploy, and at this stage, there's nothing that I feel I could say which would be a dislike.
What problems is Eploy solving, and how is that benefiting you?
Islington Council is deeply committed to its mission of creating a more equal Islington, where every resident has an equal opportunity to thrive. As one of the largest employers in the borough, we recognise that to care for our community and the environment, we must first care for our people. This commitment drives our efforts to challenge and address inequality within the borough.
The implementation of Eploy has significantly enhanced our ability to focus on our inclusive recruitment plan. The system's adaptability and the tools it offers have been instrumental in this process. Eploy's built-in anonymised shortlisting and structured review forms have enabled us to collect and analyse reportable data on application and interview outcomes. This data-driven approach has been crucial in ensuring fairness and transparency in our recruitment process.
Moreover, Eploy has allowed us to integrate several key initiatives into our recruitment strategy. We have successfully implemented a guaranteed interview scheme, a redeployment scheme, an internal first scheme, and a diverse recruiters scheme within the system. Additionally, we have been able to continuously gather and report candidate feedback, which helps us refine and improve our processes.
One of the standout features of Eploy is its ability to monitor the diversity of our candidates in real-time. This capability allows us to make necessary adjustments promptly, ensuring that our recruitment practices remain inclusive and equitable. Furthermore, we have introduced an apprenticeship first program, which prioritises roles under a certain grade for apprenticeship opportunities. This initiative not only supports our commitment to diversity but also fosters the development of new talent within the borough.
